Some say kids are among the trickiest subjects to photograph but when you successfully do, you’ll see the efforts are all worth it! This playful portrait by *mafiosa*, which was also shot using a quirky portraiture technique, is a perfect example. It was photographed using the *Lomography Belair X 6-12 Globetrotter* loaded with the *Lomochrome Purple XR 100-400*.

Congratulations to mafiosa for winning Photo of the Day!

    Chemical Manipulations with the Lomo’Instant

Perhaps you’ve already had chance to try light painting, multiple exposures and long exposures with your Lomo’Instant, but what can you experiment with next? Well, that’s exactly the thought I had which led to giving this Tipster a go. I wanted to shoot Lomo’Instant photos which felt a bit “messier” than what I’m usually used to and to use a technique which would open up new possibilities with the kinds of images I could create with my favorite instant camera. Well, here I go!

A Cup of Tea with a Little Surprise

Everybody loves a cup of tea to start the day. Meanwhile, we lomographers love to do little photo sessions to start our day. Both are really fun, but a wise person once said that we should try to combine two of our favorite things sometimes and see how it comes out. So, here we go!
