Lomography Johannesburg has found an exciting new home inside the Kameraz in Rosebank. We supply the same range of exciting Lomography products and analogue gadgets along with the same great service and attitude.
What is your favourite Lomography camera and why?
Most definitely the LC-A. We love the amazing glass lens, the ability to take it anywhere and shoot anything. Most of all, the end results give us dorky smiles.
What’s the weirdest Lomographic moment you’ve ever had?
There have been some interesting moments at festivals and celebrations, but being caught taking photos of people sleeping on trains might be slightly awkward.
What is the nerdiest question you’ve ever been asked in your shop?
Being giant nerds ourselves, we don’t notice those as much.
Where is the best place to shoot some Lomographic masterpieces in your city?
The Joburg CBD is a big must! Braamfontein, Newtown, and Maboneng. Full of beautiful architecture, people, and street art.

Lomography Japan has been working with CAMPFIRE, one of the country's largest crowdfunding services. In the past year, we have launched three successful projects such as the campaigns for the Lomography Smartphone Scanner, Petzval Lens and the Lomo’Instant, and Campfire has been helping us reach out to our supporters in Japan. Koh, Campfire's Senior Project Manager, has been involved in all three. Also a lomographer, she is no stranger to our products and has even shot with the new Petzval Lens.

Editor's Note: The past several years saw Maliha frequently moving from one place to another, a sort of nomad who likes the thrill of starting anew and finding her place in every city she stays at. In the last decade she has spent in the USA, Maliha has stayed at six different cities in five different states. Currently, Maliha is based in Denver, Colorado, and "Transient Living," a new series in the Lomography magazine, documents her experiences and the ways that she has come to call this city her home.

As the largest park in Union Country, New Jersey, The Watchung Reservation makes an ideal venue for hiking and outdoor photography. Visitors can look forward to a trailside, lake that freezes in winter, and a Science Center, among other natural attractions. With cameras and the new Petzval Lens in tow, the Lomography NYC lab team and I paid the park a visit, and this is what we found.
