Follow the trail of the mysterious girl in red in today's featured album!
June marks the 30th anniversary of the *LC-A*, and to kick off the month-long festivities, we think it’s only apt that today’s awesome album casts the spotlight on this beloved camera. As we’re browsing through the latest LC-A, LC-A+, and even LC-Wide uploads in the community, these vibrant photos by Gifu, Japan’s *gocchin* immediately caught our attention! Taken with Lomography’s reinvention of the LC-A, the *LC-A+*, most of the photos here featured a girl in a red dress (and, in some photos, a woman in white), and in all cases except for one her face remained hidden. The concept, combined with the high-contrast colors and detail make for a fascinating photo series!
I don’t know about you, but this eye-catching series reminds me of Little Red Riding Hood – sort of its 21st century counterpart, that is. See the rest of the photos in gocchin’s RED IN THE FOREST album *here*!
The Awesome Albums series is exactly what it says on the tin — it’s a love letter of sorts from the Editors addressed to user-uploaded albums that had caught their eye and had inadvertently fallen in love with. Please understand though, they’re really just here to express their love and nothing more.
