Feast your eyes on these architectural wonders patterned on nature from our community members!
Nature can be one of the greatest designers there will ever be. Some of man’s greatest architectural achievements were based on nature’s handiwork. From the nest of a bird that was made into a great stadium to the honeycomb design of buildings that borrows the simplicity and ingenuity of the hardworking honeybees, you can see nature-inspired buildings here and there. And for good reason, these designs employ utility and showcase natural beauty. It’s a good thing that we Lomographers admire beauty in all its forms and styles! These awesome analogue shots of buildings showcasing detailed honeycomb patterns all the more reinforce that idea!
You want your subject be the center of attention? Petzval lens photos are recognizable for sharpness and crispness in the centre, strong color saturation, wonderful swirly bokeh effect, artful vignettes and narrow depth of field that will make your subjects stand out!
This August, we bring you back to your roots and explore the wonders of nature! First, we cook up a storm with a film soup experiment. Followed by nature photowalks at beautiful scenic parks in Singapore to unearth the tips & tricks of trouble exposure, as well as the unique methods to perfect our macro shots. To cap off the learning month, we'll gather on a cozy Friday night for a new special sharing series by the Lomography Community -- with Sharing Session #1: Nature.
