As part of the Film Photography Day celebrations, Lomography UK held a special workshop to make a Lomomatrix movie. We gathered together in a park in Soho to create some fun stop-motion effects using some La Sardina's and an LCA+. You can see the results here.
Deciding to have a workshop on the same day as The London Marathon wasn’t the best of ideas as most of the roads were closed and lots of people were out of town. This didn’t stop us from making the most of the glorious sunshine though. we found a spot on Golden Square in Soho. We each took two La Sardina cameras to make up the Lomomatrix effect and took in turns jumping, spinning and generally throwing ourselves about like loonies.
We decided to incorporate it with some caterpillar action too and got creative with moving about and pulling silly faces. As you can see from the photos we had a great time! you can see the final movie below.
Thank you to everyone who took part!
