The Easter Weekend is approaching and for most of us that means four days off! Spring is here in the UK which means the sun is out and the flowers are in bloom. This is the perfect time to get out your cameras, dust off that special roll of slide film that you've been saving and get outside! Read on for some Easter events happening in your area and some tips on getting great Easter shots!
On Sat 19th April is Record Store Day. All the independent record stores around the world will be selling limited edition vinyl releases and having in store parties and live music. Grab your LCA+ and a roll of colour film and capture all the action throughout the day.
The Southbank Center is a great place to wander around on a sunny holiday. It sits right on the Thames and includes bars, shops, galleries cafes and the famous Royal Festival Hall. Take along a Sprocket Rocket or an LCA Wide and you’ll be guaranteed beautiful dramatic shots.
Hampstead Heath is a huge park situated in a leafy part of North London. It has amazing views of London and lots of plant life and trees to snap. We recommend getting a Diana F+ with the Close-Up lens and some slide film for beautiful dreamy summer shots.
Don’t forget to capture your journey too, you can get some excellent shots of Battersea Power Station or a nice tube sign on your way there!
Happy Easter to you all!!
