Follow this little heart on its solitary adventure around the city in this short film by mic_pe!
One day, a woman took her heart out of its container. The heart, perhaps making the most out of its newfound freedom, makes its way outside the house and into the busy city. “Little Heart” is a literal, albeit creative, interpretation of a quote by German poet and dramatist Friedrich Hebbel, “Über alles hat der Mensch Gewalt nur nicht über sein Herz” which, according to this website, translates in English to “Man has control over everything except his own heart.” A nice thought to ponder on, don’t you think?
Here in the Lomography magazine we often venture to the community’s Movies section, where we’re able to stumble upon shorts that do not only depict interesting storylines but are also well-executed. The new Kino Stories series aims to put the well-deserved spotlight on these gems, so keep those creative juices flowing and tell us your story! Who knows, you just might get featured in an upcoming installment!
