Soon, we will be introducing you to what we like to call “a quality character”. Like all the best characters, our new product is unforgettable, unique and will make an impact as soon as you are introduced! They will enable you to see the world in a whole new way and from different perspectives. And they will be the perfect companion on all your adventures in life. The word “character” can mean different things to different people, so what does “character” mean to you and do you have any idea what this product could be? We’d love to hear your guesses!

Here’s a random and rather mysterious tale for you folks. Just the other day, I was at a local bar with a few friends. It was much like any other evening; we were sipping a couple of cocktails, recounting our adventures, falling over ourselves with laughter and half-drunkenly meditating on the meaning of life (a scientist once told me it’s 42 by the way). But then something truly strange happened. Read on to hear my story and please make a comment with your guess at the end!
Only 15 and already so talented. David Uzochukwu is a student and photographer from Brussels, Belgium whose speciality is to capture breathtaking portraits. For a photography meet in Bavaria, Germany he asked us if we could lend him the New Petzval Lens, and of course we said yes! Lomography Japan has been working with CAMPFIRE, one of the country's largest crowdfunding services. In the past year, we have launched three successful projects such as the campaigns for the Lomography Smartphone Scanner, Petzval Lens and the Lomo’Instant, and Campfire has been helping us reach out to our supporters in Japan. Koh, Campfire's Senior Project Manager, has been involved in all three. Also a lomographer,she is no stranger to our products and has even shot with the new Petzval Lens.
The band Wannabe Jalva came all the way from Brazil to be part of the CMJ Music Marathon. We asked the band's members to be part of the LomoAmigo crew and catch a glimpse of the Big Apple, and they documented a week-long stay in New York with a Lomography La Sardina camera.
