To celebrate Analogue Day on April 12, we will be hosting a special film swap between the German and the United States Lomography Gallery Stores, and your film roll can be one of them!
On April 12, we will officially hold the second ever Film Photography Day celebrations! Full of fun and creativity, this analogue party involves you, your cameras and the rest of the world! For this special event we want to unite our communities in Berlin and New York for a major film Swap!
On the days leading to this special occasion, we planned enough activities to flood the world with the beauty of analogue. There will also be events in Gallery Stores worldwide (and elsewhere)! One of the amazing things we have planned is a special Film Swap between the Berlin and NY Gallery Stores.
We will give five (5) Lomographers from each city the opportunity to participate in the film swap. All you need to do for the chance to participate is to follow these simple steps:
1. Leave a comment under this article and tell us that you want to be part of it.
2. Using any analogue camera and a roll of 35mm film, shoot your favorite spots inNYC.
3. Submit the roll on or before March 26 at the Lomography Gallery Store New York.
Do not forget to leave some information about yourself and the film roll you’re going to submit: camera and film used, ISO value, and of course, your Lomo community/user name. Should you have any questions while still at the store, you may direct them to Juan. Hoyos, the store, otherwise known as antoniocastello in our online community.
Berlin – New York / / New York – Berlin
Once all the films of the participants have arrived at the store, they will be sent to Berlin! If all goes according to plan, the double-exposed film rolls from Berlin should arrive by the end of March in New York. We will then contact you by sending a message to your LomoHome. We will cover the cost of shipping the film as well as the development.
Our target is to present all the images in the Lomography Magazine and on Facebook by April 12. The Lomographers who successfully created the best Berlin-NY Double Exposure will each win a Fisheye No.2 camera and a pack of Lomography 35mm film.
We look forward to your submissions.
Send us your exposed film on or before Friday, March 22, or drop off at our Gallery Store:
