A red-haired woman posing confidently is already rad. Add a trippy purple shade and you get a stunning portrait worthy of being our Photo of the Day! Congratulations happytea of Ivanovo, Russian Federation!
Lomographers are known to be fun-loving people who have their own fair share of eccentricities. Well, birds of the same feather flock together and that includes photography subjects, too. The pretty red-haired girl pictured in this photo is joined by a purple smear that all the more contributes to this photo’s unique appearance. Community member happytea shot this using a *Lomo LC-A* loaded with Kodak Color Puls 200 film. You can see more washed out photos in this album.
Congratulations to happytea for winning Photo of the Day!
Because they have faceless conversations with readers, authors are distinguished by their eloquence and imagination. But seeing an inset portrait of a favorite writer can be a delight to a fan: The man or woman whose words seem so immortal is human after all.
The double exposure technique is a creative and extraordinary way of adding an unconventional twist to your images. Not surprisingly, the most extraordinary double exposure images were sent as entries to this competition. The grand winner gets to bring home the photo book "Double Exposures" by Nickolas Muray.
You want your subject be the center of attention? Petzval lens photos are recognizable for sharpness and crispness in the centre, strong color saturation, wonderful swirly bokeh effect, artful vignettes and narrow depth of field that will make your subjects stand out!
