We were delighted when Porcupine Tree bassist and Lomography fan Colin Edwin sent us the cover of his new album, taken using his Fisheye No. 2! Float on to see more ...
Colin Edwin has been bassist in the British band Porcupine Tree for over 20 years, racking up over 10 studio albums and a progressive rock following worldwide. Colin is now releasing a new album with Italian musician Lorenzo Feliciati and the photo for the cover was taken by no other than our lovely Fisheye No.2 Camera!
The shot was taken in Albuquerque, New Mexico using redscale film. Colin says on Lomography:
“I have a lot of fun with the cameras, especially on tour, where it’s the perfect hobby, I kill dead time walking around unfamiliar places and photographing things.”
We love how experimenting with analogue photography fits in to Colin’s life as a progressive musician!
Listen to some tracks from the album out now on Rare Noise here and find out more about Colin and his work here.
We love our cameras. We especially love it when you love our cameras. And we get super pumped when you tell us about it. So when the LC-A 120 got a stunning review from the fellas at The Phoblographer, we were giddy with delight! Not only did they give it a killer, in-depth review, but they also bestowed it with a 5/5 rating and Editor's Choice award! Read on for a little taste of the review and then head to their site to read the whole thing!

Christopher Logan has covered New York Fashion Week extensively with Lomography. He's had individual publication and drawn in crowds to our NYC Gallery Store. When he took the New Petzval 58 Bokeh Control Art Lens to the first weekend Men's exhibition of New York Fashion Week shows, the results were astounding. His photos had their own takeover on the @AmericanPhotoMag Instagram feed and he was given a feature in GQ Brazil. Read on to get a glimpse of what he and the Petzval 58 Bokeh Control Art Lens can create.
Reuben Wu fascinates, both with his splendid photographs and the music he churns out for electronic band Ladytron, or when he's doing a solo gig as a DJ. He's also one heck of a nice guy, who, despite being ultra-talented, has been gracious enough to grant another interview and share more of his amazing photos, which were taken with the Lomo LC-A+ with Russian lens.
For Michael Fiukowski, taking photos with the New Petzval 85 Art Lens is a philosophy. The manual focus encourages him to be more experimental, and when shooting portraits, he seeks for creative ways to position his subject and make the most of the Petzval's bokeh effect. He finds the lens fascinating, and tells us why.
It's no secret that the New Petzval 85 Art Lens has been a witness to many special moments, including weddings. Recently, Juan Hoyos (aka antoniocastello in the community) used it to capture a colleague's lovely wedding, and he was gracious enough to share some of his gorgeous photos, which you can see below!
