Blueskyhardrock's younger cousin, who she used to take care of, is now her lovely model. We think she and her cousin make a great duo!
blueskyandhardrock admits she had a pretty hard time capturing the perkiness and energy of her cousin in this photoshoot by the beach in Orange Country, United States. She had to chase around her muse, a figure skater, while holding three cameras and beating the sun’s deadline! It sounds exhausting but this stunning portraiture made it all worth the trouble.

Let's take a look back at this great year through this selection of landscapes and portraits that make up the most popular photos of 2014.

Driely S is a young fashion, events and documentary photographer who based out of New York. She was given the opportunity to take photos at this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which also came as an opportunity for her to try out the New Russar+ Lens.
This is a tribute to Juergen Teller, a great fashion photographer who continues to work with analogue cameras. In the 1990s he radically changed the way to make fashion photography. His models appear "soap and water", without heavy make-up, and his images seem taken like an amateur photographer. Between his nice works, there is a photos that I like so much, taken in Cuba and called "The Girl with the Broken Nose." Take a look after the jump!
This article is a tribute to the street and humanist photographer Sabine Weiss. Considered a living legend in street photography, she likes to photograph daily lives of people, trying to capture the emotions she recognizes around her. Weiss like to photograph people of all ages but she especially loves to take photos of children, masterfully immortalizing their spontaneous gestures and emotions. For this article, I was inspired by one of her rare sports photos of some children practicing judo. Do you want to know more about this great artist? Well, read on!
Derek Woods is an Los Angeles-based photographer who previously got involved in a controversy surrounding a photo that was used in the opening credits of the HBO TV series "True Detective." Coincidentally, Woods happens to be a member of the Lomo community, and it became vital to interview him regarding the issue. The interview was successful and was published in May last year. His current project, 365 of Lomography, will chronicle his day-to-day exploits with Lomography cameras. To jog your memory, and to re-acquaint you with Woods, we are republishing our interview with the controversial photographer. Please take note that some of the photos are NSFW.
