This color negative film can make a blistering snowy day in winter look like a violet haze, while still retaining sharp shots with a fine grain. Imagine what wild things it can do to the rest of the year?

With its surreal, psychedelic results that easily remind one of fairy tale-like wonderlands, the LomoChrome Purple has quickly grown to become one of the most popular emulsions in the community. We're giving you that extra push in the form of more community-penned reviews to finally try this film yourself, if you haven't.
Shooting on film is an integral part of Kristen's identity. She mostly dedicates her work to Upstate New York, specifically the Catskill Mountains, where she grew up. Falling in love with the LomoChrome Purple's charm led her to setting up a LomoHome. In this interview, she talks more about her passion for shooting in purple and her upcoming exhibit featuring some of her LomoChrome Purple photographs that she printed on metal.
What do you do when you don't have much time in a city like New York but you want to see everything, feel the vibe and be part of the community, even for a short time? Jump on a bike and enjoy what trains, buses and cabs can never give you: be part of the city. Take a camera with you to capture the moments and sights you don't want to forget. I did this with my LC-A 120 and LomoChrome Purple film.
Done shooting and want your films to be processed? We can process your colour and black & white 35mm, 120 or 110 films! Development, prints and scans are also included. (Service availability depends on your markets)

Two years ago I swore to myself, I'll be coming back soon!" This October my chance finally came and I flew for the second time to New York City to visit my dear colleagues in the Lomography Gallery Store New York. What I didn’t see coming, though, is the opportunity to test a new secret film during my trip.
