This rarely-seen photo of the legendary songwriting duo was reportedly taken during the summer of 1961, just a short while before Beatlemania took the world by storm, in the band’s native Liverpool. You almost wouldn’t recognize John and Paul here, as they looked very different from the images that we’ve been so used to seeing! Anyway, the two pals were said to have been friends for about four years at the time this shot was made.

In this article, I'll show you my 2014 in analogue through the letters of the alphabet. All these photos were taken in the streets of my city, Como, or in close proximity (a few kilometers away from it), mainly during public or sporting events, and all in black and white.
