If you though wide-angle lens were made only for landscapes, you’re mistaken. The LC-Wide did a great job in creating this unique yet lovely portrait.
*Sobetion* took this our Photo of the Day using a *Lomo LC-Wide* camera loaded with Fuji Velvia 100F film. This dynamic duo performed wonderfully, giving us a rich and crisp image, very much worthy of a POTD award.
The photo can be found in this album, where you will also see more of sobetion’s beautiful pictures.
Congratulations, *sobetion* for bagging today’s prize!
Paired with your camera of choice, the New Russar+ Lens can produce exceptional images wide-angle dreams are made of. Whether you're in the market for stunning landscapes or striking street photos, the Russar+ makes an ideal companion during those photographic expeditions. Dan from Lomography Hong Kong recently shot with the wide-angle wonder, and here are some of the photos from his shoot.
Adi, Ekeu, and I did a lomowalk around downtown Bandung last Saturday, the beginning of November. We planned to use our Lubitel cameras with only one roll of film each. We were inspired by the One Roll of Film Project by four Tokyo-based photographers with their Hasselblad cameras. This is about the one roll of film I shot with the Lubitel 166U, which made me love shooting in medium format even more.

The New Petzval Lens is not only known for its elegant brass exterior, but most importantly for the swirly bokeh effect it can bring to photographs. It makes a great portrait lens and performs exceptionally when taking photos of subjects against textured or lit backgrounds, day or night. And it does all these, in wet or dry weather; in any season – winter, spring, summer, or fall.
How incredible that a tiny thing as a camera can depict the vast empire of nature and city life! And peppered among the tall and wide views are people, humble and pint-sized from a distance. See how four photographers portrayed this astonishing contrast.
In February, we hosted a Lomo'Instant Accessory Challenge in collaboration with GrabCAD. The idea of this competition was to stoke the creative ones and encourage them to be bold in experimenting with the accessories that come with Lomography's new instant camera.
