If you live in the northern part of the lower 48 states, you're in luck tonight as the heavenly northern lights are going to make an appearance!
One of the most beautiful things you can witness in your life is the majesty that are the northern lights. Commonly known as the aurora borealis, this natural scientific phenomena is scientifically explained as caused by the collision of charged particles directed by the Earth’s magnetic field in the upper atmosphere.
The sun has been pretty active of late and sent out coronal mass towards earth. This is all scientific mumbo-jumbo but the important bit here is that this event will likely lead to visible auroras in the lower 48. Get your tripod ready to shoot, or just bask in the afterglow!
I live in the North of Italy, near the border with Switzerland. I love to cycle in Swiss territory, because their car traffic is lower than in Italy and because there are nice bicycle paths free of cars and motorbikes. In this article I'll show you a nice three-day bicycle path that I cycled last summer. Take a look after the jump!
Summer has just begun and you need to be comfy as you shoot and soak up the sun. Make sure you're wearing the right stuff; put on an ultra-soft Lomography T-Shirt! The good news is that all Lomography T-Shirts are on sale until 22nd June, so you can hoard and wear one for every day of the week.

We gave them an LC-A+ and sent them out into the night! Read on for more.
If you're the happy owner of a Lomo LC-Wide, you are probably overwhelmed and frustrated at not being able to use your three different frames on one film. But this tipster will let you make magic happen!

As part of the Film Photography Day celebrations, Lomography UK held a special workshop to make a Lomomatrix movie. We gathered together in a park in Soho to create some fun stop-motion effects using some La Sardina's and an LCA+. You can see the results here.

Before moving to New York City, I was told that people keep to themselves. Thus, I set forth to put myself out there and create connections with the people in my community, using the Lomo'Instant as an icebreaker! I was proven wrong—if you show an ounce of kindness to anyone, they will overflow in return.
The submissions are in and it's been tough narrowing them down to three winners. Thanks to everyone who submitted photos for the Candy Kittens Rumble. Read on to find out if you are one of the lucky ones!
