Los Angeles based photographer Will Tee Yang gets a taste of the Petzval lens, and appetizes us in turn with the first pictures he took using our brass-clad optical breakthrough.
Will Tee Yang’s portfolio is a plethora of remarkable imagery. He shoots photos worthy of accolade in fashion spreads and takes concert stills that would make every aspiring music photographer drool in envy. A propensity for portraits is evident in his body of work, and his work is a manifesto of unquestionable talent.
When the first batch of Petzval lenses for our Kickstarter supporters was delivered, Will Tee Yang was one of the lucky recipients. His ‘test shots’ were some of the most exceptional Petzval shots we’ve come across so far, and we are very eager to share them with you.
With an overabundance of talent and the Petzval lens to back him up, Will was able to produce these spectacular photos. The precision of details on the subject and the bokeh effect in the background rendered by the Petzval lens are amazing. We only have teasers for the meantime, but we’re very excited to see more of Will Tee Yang’s Petzval shots.
We are immensely thrilled to see such beautiful images floating in cyberspace, but we are so hungry for more. If you happen to be one of the first few lucky Petzval owners, please feel free to share the pictures you’ve taken. Drop us a link in the comments section below, upload your photos through your Lomo home, send us an email through this address, or better yet, write a piece about your Petzval experience for the magazine. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing your all-new Petzval photos.
