Awesome Albums: Supermarket by ccwu

7

Have you ever tried taking lomographs or instant photos in a supermarket? Not yet? After flipping through an awesome album by our fellow lomographer ccwu, we bet you'd be inspired to try it out! Check out his photos after the jump!

Now, there may be some of you who are wondering, “Why take lots of photos in a supermarket, of all places?” Or, some of you who have tried it very well remember the piercing stares and bewildered looks of people busy with their grocery shopping. But, one of our fellow lomographers actually has a nice collection of super supermarket snaps, and as we flipped through them, we thought, ‘A photo session in the supermarket? Well, why not?’

The lomographer mentioned is none other than ccwu from Taipei, and his awesome album in question is aptly entitled Supermarket. The album is a collection of photos taken using various cameras, such as a Canon EOS 3, a Fuji Instax Wide, and a Lomo LC-A+ RL. Of course, since there are so many things inside a supermarket, he had many props and backdrops at his disposal for making interesting photos !

We’ll let you be the judge, so go ahead and flip through his awesome album below:

The Awesome Albums series is exactly what it says on the tin — it’s a love letter of sorts from the Editors addressed to user-uploaded albums that had caught their eye and had inadvertently fallen in love with. Please understand though, they’re really just here to express their love and nothing more.
