It’s the Holidays and don’t you just love getting cool cards from family and friends that say a message or two? Well, you can be that source of Holiday cheer with these cool analogue scratch-off cards made from instant photos!
The tutorial was originally meant to be for Valentine’s but why wait a few months when you can do it now? Spotted via Instructables, this cool Christmas card idea is a good way to mix things up this Yuletide season. Traditional Christmas cards are cool but this one is way cooler since you get to do everything with your own hands. And aside from that, you also get to use your favorite instant camera!
These are the things that you’ll need:
*An instant camera and film or a 3″x3″ photo print
- Acrylic paint
- Dish soap
- Paper plate (or surface for mixing paint)
- Piece of paper
- Paint brush
- Black marker
- Take a photo.
- Mix paint and dish soap
- Tape the photo’s edges to avoid getting paint on it.
- Remove tape
Voila! You got yourself a scratch-off greeting card!
