My 2013 in Analogue: The little moments that defined my year

The year 2014 is fast approaching. Here are the little things that define my 2013.

I cannot believe that 2013 is coming to a close. It seemed like only yesterday when I snapped this picture:

This was the first photo I took for 2013, during a New Year’s celebration with my family and relatives.

Now, not a lot of things happened for the year. I basically spent almost everyday of my life (four to five days in a week) going to my university.

I also entered sophomore year in college, along with my friends who I met more than a year ago.

This is also the year when I turned 18 years old (yes, I’m of legal age now). I didn’t have anything grand for it. My family just had a simple dinner in some restaurant.

My new nephew (and godchild) Andrew was born. We call him Jabba the Hutt (it’s a Star Wars thing, if you’re not familiar).

And whenever there is a birthday to celebrate in the family, we just go out and eat somewhere. Sometimes we’d even drive out of the city to grab coffee.

In fact, for any occasion, we just go out and eat—including Halloween.

I also enrolled myself in film photography class. I learned how to process my own black and white films.

My year might not be as exciting as most people, but for me, it’s the little moments that count.
