It is well known because of its very colorful places and its extended series of canals, which are what remains of the ancient Lake Xochimilco.

Located in the south of Mexico City, Xochimilco is one of the sixteen boroughs of the Mexican Federal District. It is well known because of its very colorful places and its extended series of canals, which are what remains of the ancient Lake Xochimilco.

Xochimilco is a very touristic place in Mexico. It offers exceptional views everywhere. There are a lot of markets where you can find all kind of flowers and plants. This is where you should buy some flowers for your mother, if you want to buy large amounts and cheap.

One of the most tourist attraction is the trajinera ride (Xochimilco boats covered with flowers), where you can spend an entire day through the canals with family or friends. There are always lots of boats selling Mexican food, pictures, mariachi songs, and a lot of things you can´t imagine. Some say Xochimilco is the Mexican Venice.

    Elitechrome 400 EL: Absolutely Retro

The entire Kodak Elitechrome series belong to my favorite films. From the EB, to the EBX, ED, and EL; they all have great features once you know how to use them well. The EL with its 400 ISO hardly gets any attention, which is also because of the fact that it is more uncommon. But that is about to change with this. Here's some e-love.

So, it's time to take off your socks and shoes and relax barefoot! Where? Of course, on the walls surrounding the beautiful lake! Take a look!
