Wide-eyed Salvador Dali wearing a Santa Claus costume (but keeps his moustache)

Seeing this epic picture will make one dream of a surreal Christmas!

The latest addition to our favorite quirky snaps of Salvador Dali is the photo above, with the master surrealist donning a cheery Santa Claus outfit for the festive season. However, in classic Dali fashion, he adds a touch of surrealism by glaring at the camera and keeping his own iconic moustache instead of Father Christmas’ wintry white one. Sadly, all we know about this photo is that it was taken on December 22, 1961, and that the Spanish painter called his hat the “Dali’s Complex.”
