Colorful Double Exposures with Your LC-Wide

5

It's no secret that I like playing around with color filters. Here, I'll show you how I created overlapping color images using green and red filters.

You need a LC-Wide and color foil. I used green and red color foils from LEE.

I chose the LC-Wide because I can use it to take the pictures on the whole frame. Also, I can use it to take half-frame shots so I can continuously and completely expose the whole roll of film.

The only difficult thing with this is deciding where one frame starts and the another finishes!

Here’s what I did to get these shots:

1. I cut out the green foil in the right size of the LC-Wide’s lens tape it to the front of the camera.
2. For the roll featured here, I used a normal 200 ISO color film and put the ISO setting to 200.
3. I then shot the roll using the full frame format and the half-frame format to expose the roll completely.
4. After i finished shooting, I loaded the roll back into my LC-Wide and shot with it again using the red color foil.

Thats it! Now i have many new ideas for my next rolls with filters and doubles. But first look to the pictures from this roll:

I really liked the results. They’re really fun to do and I suggest you do it, too!
