The Eleventh Doctor leaning and posing beside companion Clara Oswald for a Leica M3 selfie

So, Time Lords use Leica, eh?

Oh you, Eleven! The shutter button is on the other end!

The photo above shows British actor Matt Smith and actress Jenna-Louise Coleman posing for a selfie using a nice Leica M3 camera. It’s just one of the photos taken by Mark Harrison for a feature on The Times Magazine. Smith famously portrayed the eleventh incarnation of the Doctor, while Coleman starred as his latest time travel companion Clara Oswald for British science fiction TV show Doctor Who.

Aside from the lovely Leica M3, the Doctor — I mean Matt Smith — was also photographed holding a Rolleiflex TLR camera. Seems like Time Lords have a taste for luxuriously awesome analogue goodies, don’t you agree?

Well, if you are over 900 years old and about the most brilliant and coolest person/timelord there is, what do you expect?
