The photo above was taken sometime during the 1960s, the decade when iconic English rock band The Who was formed. The Who remains active today, particularly Townshend and lead singer Roger Daltrey. Aside from playing the guitar, Townshend was also known for writing songs for his band and for being a solo recording artist.
