The picture was taken at noon somewhere in Mariensee, Germany. Judging from how the trees look and what the two figures in the photo are wearing, I’d say this was taken in autumn. Fall is always a great season to take photos, especially when you’ve got a camera that brings out amazing hues such as the Lomo LC-wide.
The strong contrast and whacked out colors from cross processing slide films always give a great contrast to dramatic silhouette snapshots. Congratulations to sushi_9009 for having our Photo of the Day!
This photograph just rendered us speechless with its vibrant colors and shadowy vignettes, not to mention that cute little pooch hiding behind the grass! Congratulations to yonosoydeaqui for having our Photo of the Day!
Some people say instant photos bring about a feeling of nostalgia. In the name of analogue photography and good old memories, we passed by some classic spots in Vienna and took one shot after the other. Take a closer look at our gallery.
As the week came to an end, we bid farewell to Photokina 2014. Lomography participated with patchwork photo flooring and an endless array of products that impressed spectators. Take a look at our one-of-a-kind booth and its last day of glory at the this year's trade show spectacle in Cologne, Germany.
The lives of artists are sometimes as phenomenally interesting as their work. Admirers even go as far as emulating their creative process, style and philosophies. Photographs of actors, writers and musicians in their element make this idolatry even more vivid.
