Konstruktor: Love in Plastic Lens

The best thing that came with a plastic lens.

I actually got my camera months ago. It arrived on my door step on 19 June 2013, and I built it the same day.

I have always been a huge fan of DIY products. It gives me something to concentrate on even for just a few minutes. Working on things like those calm me and yet it makes you think, what comes next?
Imagine if a box arrived at your doorstep containing 2 of your favorite things in one product? Ecstatic, yes?
I felt like a kid who can’t contain herself on Christmas day, gifts flowing around the Christmas tree.

Although, I sort of failed on my first roll with it. I learned all that there is to it so that I wouldn’t waste any film.

The Konstruktor has got to be a part of every Lomographer’s dream. You can easily experiment with it. You can modify and customize it. It gives you beautifully grained and focused photos. It’s a rad looking SLR with a single-lens reflex view finder. And it comes with a lovely 50mm lens.

You’ll love it with any type of film you feed it. It gives your photos a certain character that we all love, since we’re Lomographers.

It uses 35mm films, so finding films for this plastic beauty is easy enough for any Lomographer.

The Konstruktor is the world’s first Do-It-Yourself 35mm SLR camera. With it, you can easily build your very own camera from scratch. It’s the perfect tool for having fun whilst learning the exciting mechanics behind how analogue photography works. Get yours from the Online Shop or Lomography Gallery Stores Worldwide. Find out more about the camera on the Konstruktor Site.
