Photo of the Day by saidseni

1

Spain is listed as one of the most beautiful countries in the world, and rightfully so. There’s much to love about Spain---the heritage, the cuisine, and breathtaking architectural structures, among others. Just take a look at our photo of the day, and you’ll understand what I mean about Spain’s rich architecture.

The photo was taken by our community member *saidseni* using a Horizon Kompakt loaded with LomoChrome Purple Film in Sevilla, Spain. Notice how the mere rooftops of the city’s majestic structures make for such a great photo?

Congratulations to saidseni for bagging the Photo of the Day title! You can find more purple-tinged images of Spain in the album *Paint the Town Purple* and even more photos in saidseni’s heavily loaded Lomo Home.

The Magic Yet To Come: Part 1

Here’s a random and rather mysterious tale for you folks. Just the other day, I was at a local bar with a few friends. It was much like any other evening; we were sipping a couple of cocktails, recounting our adventures, falling over ourselves with laughter and half-drunkenly meditating on the meaning of life (a scientist once told me it’s 42 by the way). But then something truly strange happened. Read on to hear my story and please make a comment with your guess at the end!

Show Us Your Perfect Timing Winners Announcement!

There is nothing better than a photo shot at the perfect moment. Henri Cartier-Bresson's principle on "The Decisive Moment" is a principle that we should still follow to this day. A perfectly-timed photo creates impact, whether it's one of a friend jumping into the pool or a couple emerging from the ceremony on their wedding day. For this rumble, we want to see that breathtaking moment, shot at the perfect time. And you showed us what it's like to be on time.
