It’s ridiculous to imagine just how long Douglas Kirkland has been shooting. Over the course of the 50 years he has been shooting, he’s seen the rise and fall of analogue photography, and witnessed revolutions, both figuratively and literally.
In this documentary, he gives great detail on how he first got started with photography, including the first ever camera that he laid his eyes and hands on.
