You know that a Fisheye lens has a really wide angle of view when the lens can see itself! Sound unbelievable? It really is! Check it out after the jump!
Rare, collector’s item lenses invariably find themselves on ebay but this is by far, one of the most awesome items sold! We’ve got the rare, almost mythical Nikon 6mm f2.8 Ai lens, which has a whopping 220 degree field of view! And it being a 2.8 lens, it’s a huge chunk of glass. We’ve seen gigantic lenses in the past, but this one certainly dwarfs most of the competition!
This is without a doubt, one of the prettiest and most interesting modern lenses I’ve seen. The item actually sold on ebay for $75,000, so one camera collector’s wallet is significantly lighter but we’re pretty sure he has a smile as big as the lens! Congrats, whoever you are!

You want your subject be the center of attention? Petzval lens photos are recognizable for sharpness and crispness in the centre, strong color saturation, wonderful swirly bokeh effect, artful vignettes and narrow depth of field that will make your subjects stand out!
