Saturday, October 5th @ 1pm – The Killer-Kino
The Lomokino is a fantastic device that can make 35mm short films. Channel your inner horror movie director and use the Lomokino to give your audience a thrill. We’ll teach you how to use the camera to make your own 35mm masterpieces.
Saturday, October 12th @ 1pm – Boo! It’s the Belair!
Don’t be scared! It’s just the Belair X 6-12! This beautiful medium format camera can produce square images as well as lovely long 6×9 or 6×12 shots. Learn how to shoot with a Belair and what tips and tricks you’ll need to make the best photographs possible.
Saturday, October 19th @ 12pm- Bus Trip to Queens County Farm’s Amazing Maize Maze!
Autumn is in full force and there is no better way to celebrate the season than to run through a corn maze and pick some pumpkins. We are loading up our trusty yellow school bus and heading out of the city for an afternoon of analog antics. Bundle up and join us for some fun! Space is limited so please sign up in advance at firstname.lastname@example.org or stop by the store. Tickets are $25 and include admission to the maze and a roll of film!
Saturday, October 26th@ 1 pm- Spooky Spools
There are so many types of film out there that it could be a little spooky! Have no fear because Lomography is here to sort it all out of you. We’ll pass on all of our film knowledge so you can decide what films work best for you photography. At the end of the lecture you’ll get to choose what film you’d like to test out and get a feel for what the analog world has to offer.
Thursday, October 31st @ 6pm- Happy Halloween!
We are hosting a Halloween party! Drop by the shop before hitting the town on the scariest night of the year. We are right by the annual Halloween Parade so you’ll be able to see all of New York wearing their best costumes. Costumes are encouraged and we’ll be hosting a raffle for some scary awesome prizes. We’ll also be hosting an autumn exhibition. If you’d like to submit your fall themed Lomographs to be showcased simply email us your images to email@example.com!
Workshops are $10 ($7 for students) unless otherwise noted. Admission includes a free roll of film and a loaner camera if applicable. All participants will receive a 10% coupon for the store!
