Maracay is my hometown, and since I was a little girl there's a landscape there that has always been my partner... the sight of Bahía de Cata.
Cata is a bay located in the Ocumare de la Costa department belonging to the Aragua state. From Maracay to Ocumare, it takes about an hour and a half, maybe two full hours to arrive, then about 20 minutes more and… you see it!
As I said before, you have to get to this beautiful little town called Ocumare first — of course, it has its Plaza Bolí’vevar and its principal church, but my favorite feature when I get here is… the colours!
When you get to the beach, there are a lot of things you can do — first of them, of course, is taking pictures! Especially if you get there very early!
Secondly, if you get there too early, it might mean you didn’t sleep well… so, why not take a nap under the sun? Don’t forget your sunscreen!
It's been a boiling, scorching, baking hot summer here in the Philippines since March, and believe it or not, I haven't been to the beach yet. I'm going to do something about that, but not without making another playlist for the trip! This time, I decided to make a mix inspired by the summer vacations of my younger days.
August 24, 2014 was a great day because of the We The Fest 2014! Maybe it's too early to call it the biggest summer music festival in Jakarta because this has just been its first edition. Nevertheless, my girl and I enjoyed every moment of it!
Ever since I got my LC-A+, I've always taken it with me whenever I travel. This little wonder works awesome with any film, in every weather and cultural context. In Sevilla, Spain, it was no different.
It's only been a few months since the lovely Lomo'instant camera was officially launched online and in the Lomography stores. Since then this Instant compact camera has been flying off the shelves. You've all been busy experimenting and uploading your amazing shots so we've decided show you some of the best shots out there to inspire you to get creative!
"Magical" here means that every time I use the Diana F+, the results are always beyond both my expectations and imagination. That's why I always use it when I feel like doing something different. It has never failed me since day one; I even always bring this camera during my trips!
Done shooting and want your films to be processed? We can process your colour and black & white 35mm, 120 or 110 films! Development, prints and scans are also included. (Service availability depends on your markets)
Kolkata, formerly known as Calcutta, was once the great capital of India back when the British ruled our country. This is my hometown, and not the place I study in. I enjoy photographing various urban scenes around it and this is a curated gallery of sorts introducing the old city for you wonderful people.
There are small pleasures and big pleasures. A small one, like eating a chocolate after lunch, the first day of summer after a cold spring or finally meeting that girl you see every day on your morning commute can be more satisfying than anything else. As for me, shooting live music shows with the Petzval Lens is one of those small pleasures.
Every summer, my soul screams for a lazy, hot day back at my parents' home, for some good food, relaxation, and catching up with childhood friends. This year is no different, so I went back down to my small hometown in the very northeast of Belgium to enjoy a perfect laid back day doing nothing and everything. And of course, I brought my analogue cameras along to eternalize all of these small but grand moments in life.
You want your subject be the center of attention? Petzval lens are recognizable for sharpness and crispness in the centre, strong color saturation, wonderful swirly bokeh effect, artful vignettes and narrow depth of field that will make your subjects stand out!
This is a story of me and Sardine, my first ever analogue camera. We've been traveling for thousands of miles and met a lot of friends. Even though I have better cameras, Sardine is the one camera that will always be in my heart! So once again, this is my story with Sardine
A couple of weeks ago, my family and I celebrated Hari Raya after a month of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan. Since the first day I laid my hands on the Lubitel 166+, I've always had the thought of taking portraits of my family. So this year, I finally took them. Here they are: Hari Raya Portraits!
I love my La Sardina camera and it was my first Lomography camera. But as time goes by, I've seen how often it's been used and how much I've abused it. There is a simple solution for this: the La Sardina Dresses!
