Taking into consideration the feedback of users all over the world, Ferrania says they’re sure that “new reversal film would have been really appreciated both from photographers and filmmakers,” the Italian manufacturing company said their new film is going to be a “re-engineered” and “improved” version of the Scotch Chrome 100 which was previously manufactured by IMATION (which has nothing in common with the slide film made by 3M in the 1970s).

Ferrania also said that the reversal film, which came in three speeds — 100, 640, and 800/3200 ISO — will also be made available in motion picture small formats. Take a look at the Technical Sheet for IMATION provided by the Italian manufacturer for your reference.

Meanwhile, here are some Scotch Chrome 100 photos taken by our fellow community members to get you even more excited with Ferrania’s upcoming slide film!

Lovely blue tones in x-pro shots. Hopefully they release a 640 speed roll too to fill the gap left by the discontinuation of Provia 400X. Wouldn't mind an 800 speed slide film actually, night shots without too much fuss over tripods and stuff! :)
