Jim Morrison sprawled on stage and holding a mic with his eyes closed

The Doors’ frontman isn’t his usual shamanistic self in this photo.

Photo via blogspot

He’s not swayin’, groovin’, walking on ledges or throwing his body around in this photograph. Not even singing or mumbling poetic verses. He’s just there, lying down, his thick curly hair a mop on a few wooden planks and his body curled in a fetal position.

Is he praying? Internalizing? Or just plain drunk?

A Salute to the Masters: The Girl with the Scarred Face (A Tribute to Juergen Teller)

This is a tribute to Juergen Teller, a great fashion photographer who continues to work with analogue cameras. In the 1990s he radically changed the way to make fashion photography. His models appear "soap and water", without heavy make-up, and his images seem taken like an amateur photographer. Between his nice works, there is a photos that I like so much, taken in Cuba and called "The Girl with the Broken Nose." Take a look after the jump!

James Wright's So It Goes x Sri Lanka Photo Diary (Part I)

In December last year James Wright, editor and creative director of So It Goes Magazine, went on a two-week trip to Sri Lanka, "a place so long on our bucket list, but up until then, as yet unvisited," he writes on the first of his three-part photo diary. Herein is the first of his series that chronicles his adventures, highlighted by a selection of breathtaking images of the Sri Lankan countryside and the locals, among many other images, captured with his trusty photographic companions: the Leica MP, Lomo LC-A+, and an assortment of films including the LomoChrome Purple.
