Just because something is new doesn't mean it can't create something great. We want your best Konstruktor shots (so far)!
We know that your Konstruktor cameras haven’t fully settled in yet. We know that they’re still shy among your other cameras and that you yourself are still getting familiarized with it. But just because the Konstruktor is a new addition to your Lomographic family doesn’t mean it’s a slouch. It’s a hard-working piece of equipment that’s only waiting for its time to shine.
That time is now. Go shoot and impress us!
Prizes: 3 winners of 10 Piggies
Upload Limit: 10 photos per user
Minimum Photo Dimensions: Submissions must be at least 768px in either width or height.
Meta data must be completed (camera, film, location, & 3 tags)
There's nothing more satisfying than taking fantastic photos with a camera that you built yourself. If you've always wanted to impress your friends with your mad DIY skills, pick up a Konstruktor Camera Kit and show them what you've got! It's also a cool way to get them into Lomography, because as you build the camera you'll discover how analogue photography works. Oh, and the Konstruktor takes gorgeous photos, too - check out the gallery and see what we mean!
Are you annoyed by Newton's rings that appear when you're scanning your Lomo'Instant shots? I am, so I came up with the idea to create something to ensure that the photos don't touch the glass, but aren't too far away from it either because of the sharpness.
We know it's been a while since the New Petzval Art Lens was released, but we simply can't get enough of seeing your Petzval photos just yet, so keep them coming! In the meantime, check out this gallery post of lovely analogue and digital Petzval shots in monochrome.
There is nothing than a photo shot at the perfect moment. Henri Cartier Bresson's principle on "The Decisive Moment" is a principle that we should still follow to this day. A perfectly-timed photo creates impact, whether it's one of a friend jumping into the pool or a couple emerging from the ceremony on their wedding day. For this rumble, we want to see that breathtaking moment, shot at the perfect time.
From the moment you start building this lovable SLR camera to when you start shooting those dreamy shots, it’s a sensational adventure! We wanted to take this to the next level so we upgraded the Konstruktor to be flash-enabled for endless creative possibilities! Yes, you read it right - the world’s first 35mm Do It Yourself SLR Camera is now flash enabled!
We had a staggering 1110 entries to this rumble. We have picked our way through all of them and were very inspired by the quality of all your photos! It was a real challenge narrowing it down to just 3 winners. Find out who won this great competition.
