Marilyn Monroe in a shiny, flapper-style dress and holding a fur coat while looking behind her

Here's Miss Monroe once more, looking classy and lovely as ever in a dress that makes her glow even brighter. But, there's something special in this photo! Can you tell?

The photo above is one of 11 snaps from the set of the 1959 romantic comedy Some Like It Hot, one of Marilyn Monroe ‘s last films and her most successful. The photos, which surfaced for the first time in 2010, were taken on location in Florida in the United States, and were about to be sold in an auction of showbiz memorabilia organized by Julien’s Auction.

Interestingly, the photos were taken in color film, yet Some Like It Hot was shot in black and white! Below, you can take a look at the lovely Miss Monroe in the shiny dress in the clip from the movie!
