1. Self-portraits

No one escapes the spell of self-portraiture, so we might as well do it the analogue way, don’t you think? If you’re wondering which Lomography camera you can depend on to get super fun selfies, look no further than the Lomo LC-Wide!

2. Doubles and Multiple Exposures

With doubles and even multiple exposures being among our favorite photographic techniques, it’s not at all surprising to find our fellow lomographers capturing dazzling doubles with the wide-eyed Lomo LC-Wide.

3. Half Frames

If you’ve throughly inspected your Lomo LC-Wide, you must have noticed a dial underneath the camera and the lens cover that say “HF,” which stands for half-frame. That’s right, you can double the fun and go half-frame happy with your wide-eyed analogue companion, and get interesting snaps in diptych style like some of our lomographers have.

4. Long Exposure

Fancy shooting at dusk or at night with your Lomo LC-Wide, but not quite sure how to get good photos in low-light conditions? The answer lies in that tricky yet nifty technique called long exposure!

5. Lightpainting

Once you’ve figured you can shoot beautiful long exposures in low-light conditions and at night with your Lomo LC-Wide, there’s one more thing you should try with the wide-eyed analogue wonder: light paintings!

6. Pet portraits

It’s no surprise that we lomographers are fond of our pets, and love them so much for being such lovable subjects for our film photographs. The LC-Wide is one of the best cameras you can use to chase your cats and/or dogs around for some adorable pet snaps!

8. Night photography

The fun with film doesn’t stop once you’re back in the city from your relaxing summer beach time with the Lomo LC-Wide. Remember, you can always go clicking away at the glittering scenery of your city at night, like what our fellow lomographers did with their wide-eyed analogue companion!

9. Black and White Photography

While favored for the beautifully saturated and vibrantly colored lomographs it takes when loaded with slide films, the Lomo LC-Wide also makes a great choice for those who want to shoot in black and white.

10. Underwater Photography

Summertime calls for underwater photography, so it’s time for you to arm your Lomo LC-Wide with the Krab and go wet and wide whether by the seaside or poolside!

The Lomo LC-Wide boasts the newly-developed 17mm Minigon Ultra-Wide Angle lens. This 35mm camera wonder is the perfect companion for your photo expeditions. So here’s what we’ve been working on: an all new lomography.com

For the last year we've been working on the next version of Lomography. We based our work on the feedback you’ve given us over the years and we wanted to share it as early as possible with you and can’t wait to hear what you think. Just one warning first: it is still in development and things can break. All the photos, comments, likes, homes and everything else were transferred as of October 16th, 2014. So anything you do on next.lomography.com won't be reflected on www.lomography.com and vice versa. Once we are done with testing, everything you did here will be deleted again. So this is a big playground for you to explore.
