She's a young girl who has got a big heart for vintage cameras and a great stash of film! She's quite nostalgic too so it's just apt we made her our featured newcomer for the week.
We stumbled upon this LomoHome from Germany as we were drawn by her creative portraits. It’s amazing that she’s drawn on our Community, too! It’s time we welcome this lady and read her sweet interview below!

Please tell us a little something about yourself.
I am a 17 year old gypsy girl from south Germany with a head full of crazy ideas and plans of adventure. I like traveling, festival partying, sleeping, good food, cats, and everything else that can be inspiring. I am allergic to cats, horses, apples, and coconuts.
For a year already, I’ve been a member of the photo club at my school and from there I got in touch with analogue photography. It totally did cast a spell on me and now I just can’t stop anymore. I hope everyone in the world could be as addicted as I am especially when it comes to my passion of shooting wonderful people, places, feelings, and moments!
How did you find the Community and who/what convinced you to join?
Actually nobody convinced me to join the Community… I was surfing the internet once and stumbled upon the Lomography homepage. I like the friendly atmosphere here a lot and can feel the strong feeling of creativity that is in the air!
As you have read the 10 Golden Rules of Lomography, what rule do you apply in your everyday life?
I made Rule #1 and #2 very important for myself. Just take your camera always with you, hold it in your hands, around your neck, and the most relevant place: hold it in your heart! Then you’re able to be a superhero by taking the most impressive pictures and by showing the world how you see something through your eyes. This is just the biggest present photography can make so be kind and take a chance!
In this digital age, why still film?
I guess because as a dissatisfied person like me, you always try your best at digital photography and at the same time try to make the pictures look even better by editing. Analogue photography is different, it is honest and real. This gives me the strange feeling of satisfaction because sometimes you just get what you need and then it’s okay.
Any song or movie you live by?
My favourite short film.
What are you looking forward to in our Community?
I am alway looking for new people to meet. I like talking about life, religion, music, films, and the problems people are not able to solve. And if you like this too, then I am probably looking forward to you!
Your favorite analogue camera as of the moment? Why?
My favorite analogue camera at the moment is the Belair X 612 Jetsetter because I like the design a lot. I am really thinking about making it as a pre-birthday present for myself!
What is the Lomographic camera you’d want to have someday?
Hello, Belair X 6-12! <3
Your favorite section or page in our Lomography site?
I guess at the moment it is the Lomography Shop because every time I try to get a new camera, I just search through the big jungle of cameras in there.
Share your current favorite Lomograph.
I really love the emotions I get when I look at this picture. Here in Germany , July should be summer but Mr. Summer is not here yet. This photo gives me the feeling of lying in the grass, in my garden, and just jerking around with my lovely friends.
