The Smiths said you've been in the house too long, so come out and have some fun under the sun! Most Indonesians are afraid that their skin will get dark because of the sun, but I'm not afraid to have fun under the sun. Check out my story after the jump.
Indonesia is a haven for skin whitening products. It’s quite weird anyway because Indonesians’ skin color are originally light-brown. But I don’t care anymore about the color of my skin. I just love to go out and do solo lomowalks under the healthy morning sun.
I want to see life because I spend too much time in my bedroom.
The clouds after the heavy rains from the previous night are the best clouds ever. I love the cotton candy clouds!
They make me want to sleep up in the sky with the clouds as my blanket.
Sunrise always brings new hope for my broken past, present, and future, like George Harrison’s song that goes, “Here comes the sun, doo doo doo doo and I say, it’s all right.”
Maybe I should mingle more with people, so that we can forget how hot and tiring it is to walk under the hot sun.
I gave my thanks to God and also hoped that what Au Revoir Simone sings will come true: “Sunshine, throw a starving man a piece of bread.”
