How to take double exposures using the Vivitar Ultra Slim and Wide

The Vivitar Ultra Wide and Slim (and the slim devil cameras) work great for double exposures. Simply take your first exposure and wind the camera to the next frame (this will cock the shutter) then hold down the re-wind release button on the bottom of the camera as you crank back the film (following the direction of the arrow) 24 clicks – this will line your first frame up for a second exposure – snap away.

Don't know if it works like an old Nikon F or not. With the Nikon, you rewind back a little less than one frame and then advance. The film stops right where it started and the shutter is wound.

@bsdunek For FED, Zorki and Start is an excellent method: at the pressed button of descent the lock is cocked by a head of excerpts Nikon F is externally very similar to the Soviet mirror camera Start. I think it is possible to try.
