+30ºС: Summer Lomography Exhibition in Loft Project ETAGI in St.Petersburg!

On May, 29th in St. Petersburg, the Lomography Exhibition "+30ºС" will be opened! The Exhibition has been collected the Lomographic Community Members' best film photos, which features one and only subject: summer, a bright and impetuous season.

Any time of a year looks pretty good through the viewfinder of a film camera used by a discerning and curious person. But that rule can’t be applied to summer. This season is different. That’s the craziest, easiest, and the most joyful time of the year when laughter, sun glitters, bungee jumping, and bumping off the pier are in fashion, and great pictures, beach flip flops, and funny hats rule the world again.

The exhibition presents works made by Lomographers from many Russian cities and several other countries, of different ages and various professions, who left behind all their differences and embraced the world in all its versatility, looking at it in a lively and creative way. Here are some photos that can be seen:

Credits: dmigor, ck_berlin, gorics, life_on_mars, japsix, paranoid_expectation, adi_totp, masha_njam, zaruki_zanogi, happytea & gleby

The photos were selected on the basis of Competition of the best summer photos.

It makes a great portrait lens and performs exceptionally when taking photos of subjects against textured or lit backgrounds, day or night. And it does all these, in wet or dry weather; in any season – winter, spring, summer, or fall.
