For those unfamiliar, this particular costume was worn by Princess Leia Organa when she was captured and taken to Jabba’s Palace in Return of the Jedi.
And while in the movie, such a scant outfit was designed to humiliate the princess, the effects of it in real life was the exact opposite — since its appearance, the outfit has constantly earned a place in top memorable movie moments lists and fan polls.
