The Star Wars franchise has certainly come a long way since the first film, “Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope,” premiered in 1977. Nearly four decades later, the pop culture phenomenon continues to enjoy sequels, comics, novels, video games, and merchandise, which legions and generations of fans still go nuts over.

In case you didn’t know, today is a special day for the Star Wars fandom, dubbed as Star Wars Day for the clever pun spun from the popular line, “May the force be with you.” Fellow lomographers and Star Wars fans, gather around so we can take a look at the gallery of lomographs especially chosen for the occasion, and also greet each other, “May the Fourth be with you!”

Bit late but some places in the world its still the 4th, Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) advertised Kodak cameras for a breif period (search youtube for it) so using one on star wars day with some fresh lomography 110 film would give you a true lomo star wars connection, may the 4th be with you :)
