Lomography Actionsampler : Get Ready for Action!

2

Lomography Actionsampler is a camera that I think everybody must have. It's a classic cult camera especially in terms of "Lomography". I got this camera on 2010 if I'm not mistaken and to be honest, I rarely use it but these days I use it for fun. Fun is always in my mind when I'm using this camera so get ready for action with Actionsampler!

I can’t help it every time I tried to shoot someone in front of me using this camera, I always move this camera! So as you all know, this camera is a multi-lens camera and has four lenses. You can get 4 identical shots which is boring for me but I tend to do it. But the fun part is 4 different shots which is packed with action! Movement! Motion! Even though sometimes the shots turn blurry, but that’s the case for me and I love it to bits!

Sometimes I want to slow down using the Actionsampler so I just shoot properly the people and to prevent the motion blur I just have to move the camera slowly toward the object and BZZZHHHHHHH!! The four lenses fire away!

Besides using it for shooting my friends, my girlfriend, and others, I also use this camera for shooting other objects such trees, the sky, and everything nice.

Oh well, sometimes again I just want to shoot down and capture the movement of my feet. Another fun part of this camera! Especially if you just love shooting feet and can’t get enough of it just shooting with your LC-A camera or La Sardina, Why not 4 shots all together in one photo?

Or like this, all way down!

Using Actionsampler with slide film is also a great option. On this example, I used Lomography X-Pro 200.

Just have fun with this camera! Since it’s a multi-lens camera you can make Oktokino or short movie / mini-movies out of it!

So much possibilities using this camera! As I write this article, I have an idea! Why not try making these photos into 3D so it could move! That’s another possibility!
So get your Actionsampler and get ready for action!!

ACTION!

At the Funfair with my Horizon Perfekt

Every year my city Como hosts, for the Easter period, a great fun fair. This is a great occasion to test a camera, to make experiments with films, to have fun and to photograph people while also having fun! This year, I used my gem, the wonderful Horizon Perfekt (that I bought from the Lomography Online Shop) loaded with a timeless film, a Kodak Tri-X 400 developed, as usually for b/w, by myself. Lomography Redscale XR 50-200 120: Perfect for Endless Multiple Exposures!

About two years ago or so, I purchased the Lomography Redscale XR 50-200. I saved just one roll of this film and waited for the right moment to shoot with it. In April this year, I just wasn't able to take it anymore! I loaded this film into my Lubitel 166+, which I realized I hadn't used for maybe about six months. One idea came to mind: taking crazy multiple exposures!

Spinner 360: Pull the Cord and Let the Magic Happen!

The story between the Spinner 360 and I goes way back to the year 2010, when Lomography decided to send me a beta model of the Spinner 360 to test. It was a complete surprise! I thought, "What the hell is that?" as I first took this camera out of the package. Then, when my little brother grabbed it from me and pulled the cord, it buzzed and turned 360°! We all had the same expression: "Whoa..."
