A jackpot at bingo, finishing that marathon, your kid's first bike ride --- whatever that is, we all definitely have our own achievements!
And when you’ve got a proud moment, you should have an analogue camera to capture it, too! With that, we asked you to share them to us through The Lomography Hipshot Showdown: Flash That Achievement! rumble. It was hard to choose from all your amazing submissions but we just had to cut them down to the best three!
Congratulations to these Lomographers for they will receive 10 Piggies plus an Award each.
We curated a special gallery of Submissions, too! Thanks, everyone! :)
As contenders for the Nixon Surf Challenge title confronted the swell and unforgiving weather in Kamchatka, Russia, we challenged you to show us what the ‘riding life’ is all about through your analogue photos. Nixon has announced the Surf Challenge winner – it’s time we announced ours.
We asked you if your photos were worthy of having their own exhibit, from the accidental shot that was taken from your hip or even the posed perfection you asked of your subjects. And you delivered! Check out the exhibit-worthy winners!
We have been digging in our archives here at Lomography UK and have noticed how often the Diana F+ is featured on the front pages of magazines. It appears to be the most photographed of all our cameras. Here are a few wonderful fashion shots that show off the Diana F+ to the world!
I don’t like to split. A split means distance, separation, it means categorical divergence. We split hairs, we split incomes, we split up. So the first thing we have to know here is that a Splitzer – different from what you might have thought - is not at all a nasty boy splitting things up.
Have you ever experienced feeling goosebumps all over your body, that your heart seems to jump out of your ribcage, your common sense is set on pause and you just breathe and enjoy the moment? Together with The Red Bulletin, we want to see YOUR moment beyond everyday life. Are you ready for the photographic #yourmoment #beyondtheordinary challenge? Take part in our photo competition! The two best shots will be awarded with a camera, and the first 500 to register will get a one-year free subscription of The Red Bulletin!
Manchester based band Oasis rose to fame in late 1994 with their debut album "Definitely Maybe" which went straight to number one in the UK charts. They went on to have eight UK number one singles, eight number one albums and whole host of awards, dramas, fights, fall outs and new members in between. Chasing The Sun: Oasis 1993 - 1997 was the first Oasis exhibition of rare and iconic photographs, artifacts and memorabilia from the early years of the band. Some of these photos were take by Tom Sheehan who had his own exhibition at our Lomography Store East.
