That’s right, April 12th is the very first Film Photography Day; a chance for people across the world to unplug from the digital world, get together and celebrate all things analog. Here at Lomography NYC we will be hosting a party to celebrate all things analog. It is definitely going to be a night you won’t want to miss.

New York City celebrated the bees that pollinate the world and we got to participate in the family-friendly extravaganza on Beach 97 Boardwalk, Rockaway, Boardwalk. There was art, food, music, crafts, a Bee Marketplace, and lots of sweet sweet honey. William Eggleston is one of the most important contemporary master and pioneer of color photography. In this article I write a tribute to his particular democratic way of looking around. For him "Nothing was more important or less important", and everything is worthy of being photographed.
