Universal Studios Singapore has become one of the most popular tourist spots in Singapore. It is famous for its great entertainment experience that brings the silver screens to life.
Universal Studios Singapore is a big theme park. It is divided into seven zones: Hollywood, New York, Ancient Egypt, Sci-Fi City, Lost World, Far Far Away and Madagascar. The rides, shows and attractions are based on films, movies and television series. I spent almost the whole day exploring the whole park as queuing for rides and shows required some times.
I am a timid person and I always skip the roller coaster rides in theme park. But this time, I persuaded myself to go for roller coasters rides in Sci-Fi zone. I went for Battlestar Galactica: CYLON and Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN rides. These rides were thrilling and I was so nervous, but I was glad that I made through them!
The Donkey LIVE show is an interactive show. It was interesting as people got to interact with Donkey. Donkey is funny as always and I almost laughed my lung out during the show.
Some of the movies characters were walking around Universal Studios Singapore. I was lucky enough to meet with Po, Shrek and Princess Fiona. I took some pictures with them to keep as a memory.
Hollywood Dreams Parade was fun to watch. I waited ahead the scheduled time just to grab a good spot for the parade. The characters come alive and greet me right in front of my eyes. The energetic performers who sing and dance made the parade more joyful. I really loved it and enjoyed myself a lot!
There are shops and stalls in Universal Studios Singapore for people to get souvenirs, food and beverages. Walking and queuing under the hot sun made me tired and hungry. I tried the turkey leg in the park. It was juicy and delicious!
Universal Studios Singapore is a fun place to be. I feel like a kid again! It is definitely a great place to spend a spring break.
