The Fuji Nexia: The Fashion Accessory

7

This camera has all the best qualities of all around "carry all the time" point and shoot camera. The Fuji Nexia Q1 is part point-and-shoot compact camera and a fashion accessory.

Photo from: Amazon

I have owned this camera now for a few years and have rarely if ever been disappointed with the results. The camera was designed to be worn around your neck like a medallion. The pocket-sized Q1 shoots APS (Advanced Photo System) film, a Kodak invention. With a 22mm Fujinon lens, (Like the Vivitar wide and slim), This camera is auto-focus, auto-flash, auto winder and advance, complete and red-eye reduction.

The bonus of the APS function is that it enables you to change film mid-roll, as well as giving a choice of print formats – C (classic) or H (HDTV) – adjustable either on the camera or when or when prints are ordered. Also another factor is you can buy 40 exposure rolls of film. The Fuji Q1 comes in metallic silver, metallic blue, orange and purple and I have seen some with pattern. This camera works best working close so for those who need a zoom, this is not the camera for you. This camera can make some really good close up pictures.

That van is rad and sad at the same time. There are some really nice cameras attached to it making them totally ruined. Hopefully they were beyond repair to begin with.

Portraits, Lights, Instant Photos, and Weird Faces

In New York City, winter has been harsh and long, the nights long and cold, and shooting outside is not fun anymore. So when the Lomo'Instant Boston Edition hit the shelves this week and the new Splitzer arrived at the Lomography Gallery Store New York, we decided to do a round of light painting portraits instead of sunny ones.
