About a month ago the big LOMO LC-A Birthday party took place in Vilnius. But this story is not about that. It is about the movie that presents the LOMO LC-A to all Lithuanians. It is time to spread the Lithuanian Lomo idea all around the world.
The idea of this movie was simple: do the first movie about lomography in Lithuania. That’s all. Mantozauras had this idea for a long time and at last there were an opportunity to realize this idea. The concept of making movie was very simple. Just ask a room mate for help, borrow a video camera and grab all best Lomographers in Lithuania to one place to answer some easy questions. You can see results bellow:
I don’t want to speak anymore about how hard it was to make this movie or to tell that I spend secret amount of days editing it, no! Just watch it and enjoy it!
As I can image that there are only few Lomographers in other countries who know Lithuanian language so we add some features to this movie. Just turn on the captions in Youtube and you will be able to read subtitles in English. Special thanks for Tomas who was the camera-man and for Migle who helped to create subtitles. Of course best wishes to all Lomographers who agreed to participate making this movie.

The people of a city, to me, speak volumes about its culture and sense of community. And that is why I sought out the people who make Denver that much more interesting after the initial period of settling down. My search lead to a few establishments that have contributed to making Denver what it is today. In the second story on Transient Living, I present to you two of such establishments: The Craftsman & Apprentice, and A Small Print Shop.

The story between the Spinner 360 and I goes way back to the year 2010, when Lomography decided to send me a beta model of the Spinner 360 to test. It was a complete surprise! I thought, "What the hell is that?" as I first took this camera out of the package. Then, when my little brother grabbed it from me and pulled the cord, it buzzed and turned 360°! We all had the same expression: "Whoa..."
About a year ago, we introduced the Konstruktor to the world, and the little do-it-yourself camera has left us in awe ever since. Even the Viennese blogger, Fräulein Catherine (Miss Catherine), was keen on our 35mm SLR camera that you can build yourself, and she took on the DIY challenge. Here you can read more about the feat.
