Expect a lot: different nationalities, noise, music, good beer (if you’re really adventurous go for the Belgian 9% Chimay Beer), good service, football fans disguised in business suits screaming at the tellies, typical pub decor, unisex toilets, people having a last drink “for the road” about 5 times (err, that must be me!), quiet nooks where you can actually hear each other, noisy spaces where you can’t hear anything…plus lots and lots of smoke.

You can see the movements and facial expressions of people - it’s priceless! Documenting life in moving pictures, the Lomokino can be used as a camera that not only shoots moving pictures but also works like the multi-frame wonder camera, Supersampler!
When I was a child, I regularly went to Blaavand, located at the Danish west coast, with my brothers and parents. I stopped going there as I grew up. In 2012 however, we hit the road again. It was my first return visit in about 20 years. I took the chance and packed as many cameras as possible into my luggage. In part two of my journey log, I'm going to show you the pictures I took with my Lomography cameras.

My search lead to a few establishments that have contributed to making Denver what it is today. In the second story on Transient Living, I present to you two of such establishments: The Craftsman & Apprentice, and A Small Print Shop.

Every year my city Como hosts, for the Easter period, a great fun fair. This is a great occasion to test a camera, to make experiments with films, to have fun and to photograph people while also having fun! This year, I used my gem, the wonderful Horizon Perfekt (that I bought from the Lomography Online Shop) loaded with a timeless film, a Kodak Tri-X 400 developed, as usually for b/w, by myself. This is my experience with the Lomography Redscale XR 50-200 (120), my first medium format film. It's an adventure that started when I got a Lubitel 2, to finally shoot with it. In this article, you'll find detailed information about color schemes, the advantages of shooting in medium format, and the differences between standard redscale films. Here are the results of a day of shooting outside, which I recently got back from the lab.
Far from the romanticized images we see on television, kitchens are marred by a mesh of savage industrial hardware, organic flesh and bones, and the souls that inhabit it, as photographer Mike Kumagai discovered. His series exposes some of the notions we carry of kitchens and cooking in the only medium befitting of the task: 35mm film.
